Kay K Couture Jewelry

So we went from beautiful weather last weekend, to snow on and off this week! I still haven't switched my closet because it's been so unpredictable. Just dreaming of springtime and hoping it gets here soon!

I obviously love making a statement through my outfits but especially with jewelry! You will most definitely always see me rocking a huge pair of statement earrings. That's why I had a blast styling these jewels from Kay K Couture Jewelry!

These turquoise beaded statement earrings add the perfect pop of color to any outfit! Here I paired them with a dress and a leather jacket. I think these would be so cute with a simple v neck tee and ripped jeans to dress it up! They are only $22.99 and they also come in Blush, Gold, Pink, Silver, Violet and Black

The other pair of statement earrings I styled were the Gypsy Blues Tassels. Obviously tassels are my signature but the geometric shapes add so much dimension! These are perfect for your summer vaca! Plus they are on sale right now for only $14.99.

This Stone Wave Cluster necklace I paired with a simple blue dress. The blues and greens are so pretty together. It reminds me of some J.Crew jewels! This necklace would also be super cute with a blouse or just a graphic tee! And for only $9.99 it's a must!

You definitely have to check out Kay K Couture and all the sales she's having. I spy some super cute rope jewelry I may need to add to my growing collection! Make sure to follow them on Instagram as well to see all their new arrivals!

Violet Skye Boutique

Happy Sunday loves! I've been decluttering all day and it feels SO GOOD to throw things away. You never realize how much randomness you have until you start opening drawers and cabinets. With all this spring cleaning I am still waiting for the spring weather to reach Pittsburgh! On Saturday we woke up to a little dusting of snow. Literally insane!

While I wait for it to warm up I've been doing some spring outfit planning in the meantime to get me into a warm weather mindset! I played dress up a few weekends ago with a couple items from Violet Skye Boutique! Also shoutout to Mandie for taking these pictures for me in 30 degree weather! We were running back to the car to warm up between outfit changes.

The first item I styled was this super pretty red floral top! The sleeves hit 3/4 length and they have a little tie detailing at the end. It's extremely versatile to dress up or down. Here I've paired it with some light wash fringe jeans and nude wedges for a more casual look. I would wear this to dinner and drinks! If you want to dress it up a little more you could pair it with white pants and peep toe heels. For size reference I'm wearing a medium.

The second item I styled was this belle sleeved navy floral dress! I love the pops of color against the navy. Here I styled it with some tassel earrings and peep toe booties! Springtime means lots of bridal and baby showers which this dress would be perfect for. I'm wearing a size medium for reference.

Have a good week!

Footloose - Shop at the Galleria

When I first moved to Pittsburgh 3 years ago one of my sorority sisters who grew up here introduced me to the Galleria. I met her there for lunch and coffee one afternoon! It has stores like Anthropology, Pottery Barn and Janie/Jack. For all my local Pittsburghers it's located out in the South Hills near South Hills Village Mall.

I love the atmosphere inside the shopping center! It's quaint and the perfect place to spend an afternoon or evening. I was so excited to do some try ons last month at a local boutique called Footloose!

Footloose is an upscale Women's boutique that has a variety of shoes, clothes and accessories. All the best brands! Including Hudson Jeans, Sunday's tops and Tom Ford sunnies. The owner and staff were super helpful picking out the latest styles and what pieces to pair them with!

Here are some of the new spring arrivals I tried on:

Pants: Sundry // Top: Bobi // Sneakers: Khrio

For this lounge look I love these floral printed sweatpants, paired with a simple top and metallic sneakers. The cropped sweatpants are super comfy and have such a vibrant print. They even have a raw edged detail on the bottom. This is the perfect look to run errands because you still look polished!

Top: Sunday's // Jeans: Hudson // Shoes: Kristin Cavallari // Necklace: Jenny Bird // Sunglasses: Tom Ford // Purse: Hammitt

This outfit was definitely my favorite! The top is lightweight and perfect to transition into spring. It looks super cute paired with these ripped hem white jeans, but it would also go with cutoff shorts. The neutral wedges have little tassels that tie around the back of the ankle. They also have the cutest sunglasses and bags finish off the look.

Dress: Trina Turk // Heels: Jon Josef

With so many weddings coming up this summer, this Trina Turk dress and nude heel combo is perfect! This color makes such a statement and would look nice on any skin tone. A nude heel is a must for any spring/summer look.

Shoe: Pelle Moda // Jacket: Indigenous // Jeans: 7 for All Mankind // Purse: Botkier

I was immediately drawn to these jeans because of the stripe down the side! They also have a raw hem cutoff at the bottom which makes them perfect to pair with wedges or sandals. This gray jacket is another great transitional piece into spring. I love the button detailing!

So if you live locally in Pittsburgh definitely make a trip out to the Galleria to shop at Footloose! Make sure to follow them on Facebook and Instagram too!

Hooded Pink Jacket Popjulia Review

It's been a hot minute since I've jumped on here to write! Does anyone else feel like each week goes faster and faster and before you know it a whole month has flown by? I can't wait to do some relaxing next weekend for Easter with my family! Do you guys have any fun plans?

The weather has been pretty bipolar as usual here in Pittsburgh so the coat situation is ever changing. Yesterday it was sunroof weather but I think today it's supposed to snow 1-3 inches! This pink jacket from Popjulia has enough warmth for the colder mornings, but is a good transition as the day warms up. I obviously was drawn to the color initially and the grey liner makes it even more chic. It even has a hood!

I styled it casually with a v-neck, boyfriend jeans and mules. My v-neck actually has little metallic kiss marks all over it! The best part about this jacket is it also comes in yellow and it's on sale right now for $22. I sized up to a 10 so it was a little oversized and comfy! I think it's the perfect preppy jacket to add to your closet. It's easy to take from late Winter into Spring!

What is one of your favorite Spring transitional pieces?

Valentine's Day Looks

How is it already Valentine's Day?! I feel like 2018 is already flying by! My favorite part of February is obviously all the pink and red. Jonathan and I are off to dinner and a movie tonight!

I styled a couple different looks for Valentine's Day from Allura Boutique! I'm loving this magenta Barbie Sweater that I paired with jeans, booties and a tassel necklace! This sweater is SO SOFT! It is also perfectly oversized and I'm wearing a size Medium for reference. You need this color added to your closet for only $34!

The second outfit I styled was a red Moto Jacket also from Allura Boutique. If this isn't the perfect Valentine's Day outfit, I don't know what is! Pair it with black jeggings, leopard booties and you're set. The best part about this jacket is that it's stretchy making it super comfortable to wear all night. It is perfect for a night on the town with your Valentine! I'm wearing a size Large for reference. DM them if you're interested in the jacket!

Definitely check out Allura Boutique and all their cute new arrivals for Springtime! What are your big plans tonight?!

Fur Sleeve Coat from StyleWe for $65

The weather has been so bipolar here in Pittsburgh! Last week we had snow and then some days it warmed up to 40 degrees. I even woke up to some unexpected snow this morning! The coat situation is always a problem because when I dress up I want to have something nicer, not a puffy coat.

That's why I am so in love with this gray peacoat from StyleWe! It's elegant and perfect for a night out to a fancy restaurant. I would wear this with a dress or nice pants and a blouse! For size reference I am wearing an 8. They provide a "find my size" measurement chart that helps you calculate the right size. I love this because sometimes ordering online can be tricky so this way you know for sure that the item will fit you properly.

The fur detail on the sleeves is so fun and glamorous! Add some big aviators and you're set. I can't wait to wear this one into next season and right now it's on sale for $65. The best part is it also comes in black. If you're in need of a new peacoat with a twist I would definitely check it out!

Any big plans for Valentine's Day this week?
