Floral Cold Shoulder Top

The cold shoulder trend is everywhere right now and I literally am obsessed with it. This top from Dreamboat Boutique is the perfect combination of trends! It has the criss-cross detailing in the front, cold shoulder sleeves, and a pretty floral pattern for spring. I've already gotten a lot of use out of it! I wore it to work, to a museum event and out to the bars. I think that's what is so great about it, is that you can transition to wear it for a lot of occasions depending on how you style it!

For this look I paired it with black jeans, lace up black heels and colored sunnies! For a more casual look I would do ripped jeans and slip on sneakers. It would also look really cute with white skinnies and wedges in the summertime.

I've gotten so many compliments on this top because of all the details! I love how light weight it is so you can wear it on those hot days, but still have the sleeves for the blasting air conditioning.

Lilac Off the Shoulder Top

First of all, how is it already April?! I feel like this year has literally flown by. Maybe last year because I was so focused on the wedding that time seemed slower? Who knows, but I'm so excited to go home for Easter next weekend!

Every Spring I love the pastel hues that hit the store sales floor. I also feel like I re fall in love with the color lilac. It literally used to be my favorite color! My room was even painted a pretty lilac when I was younger. So when I saw this Off the Shoulder top from Dreamboat Boutique I knew it was a Spring must have!

I've paired it with white jeans, wedges & turquoise tassel earrings. I definitely will be wearing this outfit for Easter! The top is super flowy, with gorgeous bell sleeves! A perfect statement detail that will have everyone asking where you bought it. I also love the white lace trim around the top & sleeves. So feminine & literally screams SPRING! The turquoise earrings add another pop of color to complete the look. I also counted how many tassel earrings I have the other day.. it's out of control. Finish off with some pink sunnies & a monogrammed clutch & you're all set! I'm wearing a Medium for size reference.

Definitely check out Dreamboat Boutique for so many other springtime goodies! It's super affordable & who doesn't love supporting small businesses?!

Have a good Thursday!

Little Grey Dress

How cute is this grey knit dress?! When the weather gets colder I think it's hard to dress up because in the summer you have countless options of dresses & rompers. When I saw this dress at eShakti the sleeves are what sold me! I love how they bell out at the bottom to make a statement. The poet sleeves are the perfect twist on a neutral dress.

At eShakti there are a few ways to order either by standard size or custom to your measurements. Next they ask for your height to adjust the item accordingly. You can also make the dress completely your own by customizing the neckline, sleeve type or length. I love the fit on me! I went with the standard sizing option & kept the neckline, sleeve type & length the same. However, if you do switch up the neckline to a v-neck or scoop it would make the perfect springtime outfit.

I've absolutely loved anything I've gotten from eShakti! A few years ago a did a post on a green skirt I got from them. It is another statement item that is always a conversation starter. They have so many other fun winter dresses to choose from! Especially if you're looking for something truly unique. So if you have a wedding coming up or need a new professional outfit definitely check them out!

Gamiss Oh Deer

I tend to be super festive for every holiday whether it's in my outfits or decorating the house. When I spotted this deer sweater on Gamiss with the little red nose, I was instantly obsessed. It's obviously for the holiday season but you can grab it up for next year for less than $15! I wore this a few times while I was home for Christmas because it's super comfortable and easy to throw on with jeans & boots. This is a one-size item so it may fit differently depending on your body type. The sequin detail adds to the whimsical side of it! I can't wait to wear it again next December. Processing time will be about 3 days for this item & I would allow 7 shipping days! I love buying things after the season is over to save for next year, because you forget about it & then it's like a surprise when you pull it back out!

You can never have too many coats, especially after you wear the same one day after day. I like to mix it up depending on my mood, outfit or weather. This shawl collar gray coat is perfect for those in between days when the weather isn't terribly cold. I love the fur collar & the zipper detailing on the sides. I would wear this out for drinks with friends because if the bar is cold, it's still a chic addition to your outfit. One of my biggest pet peeves is when a coat ruins your outfit, so I tend to go without one if that's the case. I love how this one is super cute, so it only adds to what you're wearing instead of taking away from it! I sized up so that I could wear bigger sweaters underneath without a problem. To help with sizing Gamiss also has a sizing chart on their website so you can see which would be your best fit. Make sure to follow Gamiss on Facebook for all their latest deals!

Winter Tassels

Statement earrings will forever be my favorite addition to any outfit. I usually go for bright colors that will stand out against my hair. When I was home for Christmas I wore this outfit to our family dinner on Christmas day. This black sweater is from Express & the tassels are from Charming Charlie's. I could literally spend hours in Charming Charlie's just looking at everything. It's also dangerous that I have one right by my apartment. My over the knee boots are from Target & I've been loving them all season long. The jeans I'm wearing are Khloe's Good American jeans. I can't even begin to explain my obsession with them! They are literally so comfortable & have an amazing fit. I would recommend sizing down in these because I am wearing smaller than I normally would.

I hope everyone had an amazing weekend & is ready to take on the week.. with lots of coffee of course!

Zaful Think Pink & Grey

Every time I wear pink I instantly feel like I'm Elle Woods. I literally think of the court room scene with her strutting in with an entire pink outfit. I saw this sweater on Zaful and absolutely knew I needed it! The color is the perfect shade of pink & I love wearing brights in the winter. It makes the days seem less gloomy am I right?! I wore it up around my neck, but you can pull it down off the shoulder too for a night out. I sized up so that it was super big & was cozy enough on the cold streets of NYC. Obviously I paired it with pink mirrored shades & a plaid pink scarf.

Choker sweaters are so trendy right now so I definitely fell in love with this grey one from Zaful. It is one-size but the style is definitely cropped. Logan paired it with black leggings & fringe booties for a cute casual look! I comes in other great winter colors like black, dark green, auburn & light pink. Both this sweater & the pink are under $30! Perfect if you spent too much on Christmas gifts like I did... Oops. For shipping I would allow 7-10 days for international.

Married & Merry

I still can't believe it's already 2017! Literally 2016 was such a whirlwind, but amazing year for us. We got married & added Miss Remi the frenchie to our family! Jonathan and I did a lot of traveling this year, the farthest being Antigua for our honeymoon!

It was so fun to spend our first married Christmas together! We used a wedding picture on our Holiday cards with Miss Remi featured on the back. Our tree really transformed this year too with lots more ornaments & ribbon added around it. I went for a colorful bold look with lots of bright colors. Very Emily Ann Gemma inspired!! The bar cart was even fully decorated in holiday spirit. Side note- does anyone else have problems buying way too many cocktail napkins?

One of my favorite items we added to our tree this year was our Married Christmas Ornament from philoSophie's! It has a beautiful illustration of us in the snow & the other side as Bride & Groom with our wedding date. Joanna Alberti illustrates each personalized item making it that much more meaningful. She added touches like hair color, skin color & did I mention she's a Delta Gamma?! Sisterhood truly is everywhere.

Definitely check out the philoSophie's site for more fun illustrated items! I've had my eye on this Delta Gamma notepad  & how fun are these personalized Wine Quick Notes?!

I hope you had a wonderful Holiday Season!
