Drinks Well with Others - Valentine's Day Edition!

I am a BIG theme person! Give me a theme and I'm the first person to go all out. So with Valentine's Day coming up you know I'm all about the pink, red and hearts.

New Year, Less Clutter!

I hope everyone survived the holidays! I know for me this is definitely still such a busy time at work and just getting back into the swing of things. We started the year off with our closet breaking which forced me to clear it out and go through each item! So, not entirely a bad thing, but definitely not ideal.

I've been watching You Tube decluttering videos to get me in the decluttering mood. It's so hard to get motivated to deep clean like this though. Anyone else get super overwhelmed?! I've learned to just take it section by section in order to make it all manageable. The KonMari method says you should hold each item and ask yourself, 1. Does this bring me joy? 2. Would I purchase this again if I was at the store? I'm so thankful that my parents and sister came yesterday to help tackle this project! I have some other little spaces I need to go through this week like my bar cart and the coat closet.

One of the best parts about a closet clean out is finding items you didn't even remember you had! For me, one of them was this hot pink turtleneck sweater. I actually bought this back in the fall and never wore it that much. It's originally from Express, but I found it at Gabe's for a fraction of the price! I was inspired by my friend Jen (@chicandcheaplifestyles) who loves Gabe's. I definitely need to go back soon just to see what other finds they may have. I paired it with a multicolored clutch, another sale find from Nordstrom Rack! Also my hoops are on sale for only $14!

So when did we go straight from Fall to Winter? I feel like the last few weeks the temps have significantly dropped in Pittsburgh and I'm pulling out all the thick sweaters to combat it. It makes me miss the warm Florida weather and I styled these beautiful earrings from TrendingAbove on the beach.

I'm a big earring person because they add that extra glam to any outfit. Especially these Spike Earrings that you can wear with anything!
